Florence + The Machine

              Florence and the Machine
Genres: Indie Rock, Indie Pop, Art Rock, Baroque Rock, Soul

I love Florence and the Machine's unique sound. The band was a collaboration of Florence Welch and Isabella "Machine" Summers. At first, when Florence and Isabella would perform, they would call themselves Florence Robot/Isa Machine. My absolute favorite song by this British band is Dog Days Are Over, though Shake It Out is a close second. Band Members include Florence Welch, Isabella Summers, and Tom Monger, Mark Saunders, Rusty Bradshaw, Robert Ackroyd, and Christopher Lloyd Hayden. If you haven't already heard some of their songs, you should definitely check them out.

Jack Johnson

Hey All! I'm so sorry that I haven't written in a while, I've been out enjoying the sun! It was almost ninety degrees yesterday! Wow. Anyway, I have been listening to Jack Johnson lately, I really like the style of music that he sings! It is a similar style to Colbie Caillat. The genres that his songs fall under I believe is soft rock, folk rock, and surf rock! Two of my favorite songs by him are Upside Down and Better Together. But like all music, this is a certain style. Maybe you don't like it. That's okay! I dislike some styles of music as well. Like take punk rock or Dub step! I'm not saying it is bad, I'm just saying that it isn't my style. Anyway, I think these are great songs! If you want, check them out!

Ready 4 the 4th!

How is it possible that it is already July? It seems like just last month it was snowing. Haha, the weather wasn't THAT bad! Anyway, I wanted to wish everyone a really AWESOME 4th of July! Where I live, we do a barbeque, and fireworks! But, what makes it unique is that we put a little music into it! Like one year we put on a concert. This year, I will definitely have my saxophone out! And then my neighbors with their instruments! Anyway everyone have a great Fourth of July!!! :)
